Veena Ravi has spent the last 20-25 years collecting dolls. At her home in Basavanagudi, she has recreated the underwater city of Dwarka using over 6,000 Dasara figurines. Every year, a new theme is curated using these figurines to narrate stories from Hindu mythology. This year, they have chosen Dwarka, believed to have submerged under the Arabian Sea as Lord Krishna left the world. This annual family tradition has now become a local attraction, welcoming around 100 visitors daily during Dasara. Preparation for the exhibit starts several months in advance, with the figurines meticulously arranged from August to ensure perfection.
